    Windows System Administrator

    KBR is looking to add a Windows System Administrator to our team to provide Windows-based workstation and server support to our DOD customers in Patuxent River, MD.

    This is a full-time on-site position. This position offers a CWS/Flex Schedule. Core working hours: M-F, 8-3pm

    In this role, you will...

    • Perform a variety of information technology/infrastructure activities, as well as IT inventory management.

    • Perform the installation, integration, configuration, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, security implementation, and configuration management of software on Windows based servers

    • Manage the functionality and efficiency of multiple Windows-based servers

    • Administer policies and standards related to security and technical implementation guidance

    • Coordinate with customers to perform software security testing and scans

    • Maintain system documentation

    • Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues

    • Ability to work independently as a part of a team in RDT&E environments

    BASIC REQUIREMENTS

    Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen

    Clearance: Must have an active Top Secret Clearance. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

    Certification: CompTIA Security + CE

    Required education & years of experience (+substitution options below)

    Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science or IT related field

    Experience: 5 years of relevant work experience which includes

    • Experience managing Active Directory in an Enterprise management/network experience.

    • Experience with Group Policy Objects and applying STIGs on AD Domain Controllers

    OR

    Education: High School Diploma or GED

    Experience: 9 years of relevant work experience which includes

    • Experience managing Active Directory in an Enterprise management/network experience.

    • Experience with Group Policy Objects and applying STIGs on AD Domain Controllers
