    About the Role:

    As a VP, Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the Operations department provides quality service in multiple corporate office locations across the US. Operations is responsible for planning, managing, and directing office operations including administrative duties and direct producer support. The VP, Operations achieves results through leadership of regional leaders who are responsible for coordinating staff functions and operations that support the organization's goals and strategies at the local market level.

    What You'll Do:

    • Provide formal supervision to regional Operations leaders. Monitor the training and development of the team. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new Operations leadership positions.

    • Coordinate and set the organizational priorities that drives Operations leadership work activities, assign projects, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.

    • Evaluate overall operations regularly and report findings to the Executive Team. This includes progress reports, proposals, requirement documentation, and presentations.

    • Develop and drive efficient and effective strategic operations. Conceptualize new methods, techniques, processes, and standards across job disciplines or functions.

    • Identify and manage projects from beginning to end that support operational efficiency and process improvement. Review the scope, needed resources, budget, and project schedule to ensure it remains within the required constraints.

    • Apply mastery knowledge of function or major operational segment as well as business and commercial expertise to differentiate the company from the competition and drive performance.

    • Direct the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems by applying advanced critical thinking.

    • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Shape the opinions and negotiate with senior management and others.

    • Build partnerships with external organizations of common interests while being guided by the organization's functional strategy.

    • Evaluate key business challenges across functions, even if challenging the status quo, and partner with functional leaders to develop and direct new or innovative solutions across the organization.

    • Contribute to defining the direction for products, processes, standards, or business plans based on business strategy.

    What You'll Need:

    • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 15+ years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

    • Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.

    • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.

    • Motivation to impact results of a business unit, major operational segment, or enterprise-wide organization sub-function.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to create presentations and present information to large audiences.

    • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

    • Meticulous organizational skills with a masterful inquisitive mindset.
