  • DESCRIPTION

    Responsible for maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the company in sales, operations, financial results, personal development and reward for employees and management structure and systems.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Primary responsibility involves profitably developing our existing business through both volume gains and attracting new business.

    • Develop strategic plans designed to accomplish the financial objectives of the division.

    • Work with Business Managers to develop a cohesive, effective, and highly motivated sales force to achieve Acosta targets.

    • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with Clients to achieve their targets.

    • Responsible for effectively communicating to retail community.

    • Expense management.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • College degree and at least 10 years in sales or marketing positions of successively increased responsibility.

    • Proven track record in a management level sales capacity with a food broker or major national packaged goods company.

    • Prior experience must demonstrate proven sales skills along with the ability to successfully manage others.

    • Proficient in a variety of software packages used to support the sales function.

    • Ability to analyze sales and marketing information needed to make effective sales presentations.

    • Solid understanding of the fundamental principles of financial management and possess the ability to effectively monitor and control expenses.

    • Effectively communicate the company's operating philosophy, goals, and objectives to all employees.

    • Effective public speaker and be able to make persuasive presentations to principals and customers

    • Willing to travel.
