Description

• Looking for a Tax Manager that can manage the tasks needed for their clients in handling and preparing their tax returns. Ideal candidate would have a blend of both general accounting experience as well as Tax expertise.

• The Tax Manager will oversee the work of about 15 Staff Accountants that handle the tax preparations.

• Direct and guide the Accountants on what is needed and outline the tasks for each customer in order to handle the tax filings in an orderly and efficient manner.

• Review tax compliance functions for individuals and their related businesses (corporate and partnership returns)

• Develop and train staff/seniors throughout the organization.

• Work with Partners/Leadership on internal firm initiatives and business development.

• Advise clients on best practices to reduce their effective tax rate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years manager experience at a CPA/Accounting Firm specializing in Tax Returns

• Tax Preparation experience overall 7+ years

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or similar

• Must have experience in a Tax Software
