    General Summary

    In collaboration with contracted partners and Holy Cross Health departments, the Surgical Specialty Practice Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and implementing the requirements for efficient and effective operations necessary for patient access, care, referrals, billing, and health information management between multiple sites and departments.

    Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.

    Minimum Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required:

    Associates degree in business or health related field preferred. 3 years of relevant experience, previous experience working in a health-related setting preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and organizational skills including time management required. Ability to collaborate with office and clinical staff to maintain timely documentation and submission of data. Experience in data collection, transcription and abstraction of medical records. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage relationships within and across the organization. Proficient in the use of computer software programs for Word, Excel, Epic, Kareo, and Power Point. Maintain high level of confidentiality. Knowledge of medical terminology.
