  • A Day in the Life:

    The primary objective of the Senior Vehicle Control Representative (SVCR) is to ensure an appropriate and timely resolution to overdue rental contracts is achieved by applying critical thinking skills, research skills, and good judgment in determining, proposing, and executing an appropriate resolution for each customer. Additionally, assisting the supervisor with escalated customer concerns, reviewed of plus 20 overdue contracts, and monitor non-exempt time-link punches for accuracy.

    $22.00 HR

    What You'll Do:

    • Exercise independent judgment for handling and review of escalated overdue cases for customer complaints, high-valued vehicles, and unique business strategies.

    • Audit overdue files for compliance and coach the Vehicle Control Representatives on best practices. Advise Supervisor of Concerns.

    • Train new vehicle control representatives.

    • The "go-to" person to assist the department with questions, advice, or how to handle situations that arise during day-to-day operations.

    • Identify and complete process improvement projects as identified by the Vehicle Control Supervisor.

    • Manage workload and effectively use all available resources to obtain an extension, the return of, or otherwise resolve overdue vehicles promptly. (Research all Hertz systems, call/email/send letters to all overdue customers, contact the field, hire skip trace and/or repossession companies)

    • Work with the field locations and security managers to resolve overdue contracts.

    • Work efficiently with department resources (the Predictive Dialer, TLO, etc.) to reach overdue customers.

    • Other duties/projects as assigned

    What We're Looking For:

    • 2 years' college or relevant rental experience

    • Experience in customer service, collections, or a call center environment

    • Previous Car Rental experience, preferred

    • Moderate efficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook

    • Ability to learns and achieve proficiency in new software applications

    • Excellent organization, time management, investigation, and analytical skills

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Ability to work independently

    • Demonstrated attention to detail

    • Bilingual is a plus
