SQL Database Developer

Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Database Developer in the IT Software industry based in Naples, Florida. The role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining SQL databases to support software products. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases to support software products

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of database solutions

• Monitor and optimize database performance for efficiency

• Implement T-SQL programming under SQL Server 2017 or higher

• Utilize PL/SQL programming under Oracle 12 or higher

• Familiarize and work with Azure Data Tools such as Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse

• Contribute to innovative projects and provide solutions for complex database related issues

• Maintain knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in database development

• Implement Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes for data warehousing

• Work with flat files for data storage and retrieval

Requirements - Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server and Azure Data Factory

• Experience with Azure Databricks

• Strong knowledge of database development

• Familiarity with ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes

• Proficiency in handling Flat File

• Experience in designing and implementing data warehousing solutions

• Strong understanding of database structures, principles, theories, and practices

• Ability to analyze data and improve data quality and efficiency

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work as part of a team

• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
