Secret Systems Engineer

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Mid-Level Acquisition Systems Engineer to support a large NAVAIR program at Patuxent River Naval Air Station. This individual will be responsible hardware and software support to include SETR support, analysis & troubleshooting of PTRs on test bench residing in CSIL, support test planning, procedures, and reports. They will analyze systems, requirements, and functional allocations. This individual will also ensure current and accurate documentation for engineering baselines including requirements traceability/allocation. The ideal candidate will maintain a "total system" perspective with reference to the development and integration of products.

Skills and Requirements

5+ Years of Systems Engineering for a DoD Acquisition Program

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Etc.)

Active Secret Clearance

Understanding of Navy avionics equipment and engineering documentation

Experience conducting Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR), facilitating Systems Engineering Plans (SEPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Previous support of a NAVAIR program
