    We are seeking Registered Dietitians (full- and part-time positions) to join our team supporting our caring partner Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America, a large system of senior living communities.

    The Role at a glance:

    We are looking to add an experienced registered dietitian to our Cura Hospitality team in Rolla, MO and Farmington, MO. As a registered dietitian, you will have the opportunity to identify and assess the nutritional needs of assigned patients/residents, initiate interventions to achieve and/or maintain individuals nutritional status and enhance quality of life consistent with patient's/resident's goals. #LI-KM1 #indeedelior #JC

    What you'll be doing:

    • One day a week at Rolla Presbyterian Manor, and one day onsite and one day remote for Farmington Presbyterian Manor

    • Provide Nutrition Assessments for admissions, quarterly assessments, annual assessments, tube feedings, weight changes +/-4% in 1 month, wounds, and for significant change assessments (such as a hospice admission or a significant improvement in ADLs)

    • Nutrition education as needed and requested by residents

    • Creation and quarterly updates on care plans for nurses/CNAs/CMAs to reference at meals and snacks to tailor to resident food preferences

    • Completion of MDS (Minimum Data Sheets) for Section K and CAAs

    • Use of the nutrition-focused physical exam to identify residents who meet criteria for malnutrition according to ASPEN Malnutrition Criteria

    • Care conference meetings with families to update them on changes with the resident

    • Collaboration with interdisciplinary team to provide resident-centered care during weekly clinical meetings

    • QAPI Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement Meetings each quarter

    • Monthly Kitchen Inspections and Meal Service Audits

    What we're looking for:

    Must-haves:

    • Bachelor's degree in nutrition or related field

    • Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.

    • Completes 75 hours of continuing education hours every five years, in accordance with the CDR, utilizing the professional portfolio development process.

    • Licensed or certified, per state requirements.

    • Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents' rights.

    • Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

    Nice-to-haves: .

    • Experience working in healthcare or long-term care.
