  • Job Description The

    Product Management- Senior Associate

    role will contribute to working directly to analyze, build, develop, and/or design functionality for a product, as well as participate in the ongoing implementation, enhancement, or maintenance of existing products. This role will:

    • Ensure the product strategy is in alignment with business objectives to deliver the maximum value and outcomes.

    • Have an end-to-end understanding of your product and how it fits into the larger Fannie Mae ecosystem to anticipate impacts from changes in other parts of the business.

    • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product

    • Perform essential business activities that require some degree of experience in mortgage servicing and a broad understanding of Single-Family mortgage standards and ; principles.

    • Own several components of Agile team deliverables, including: requirements gathering and documentation, story and ; feature writing, product planning and ; refinement, data and ; process modeling, and story mapping.

    • Source and synthesize customer discovery efforts to develop customer personas, understand customer pain points, aspirations and builds hypotheses around key problems to solve.

    • Support software development team by communicating requirements, addressing questions and providing business background for enhancements.

    Qualifications Minimum Required Experience

    • 3 years experience in a Product Owner, Product Analyst, or similar role

    • Experience using Atlassian JIRA and Confluence tools

    Desired Skills

    • Well versed with all aspects of Agile methodology and SAFe best practices

    • Actively finds new ways to improve processes and ways of working

    • Advanced organizational skills; highly adaptable and can navigate with confidence in a fast paced, ever-changing environment

    • Strong skills in documentation of analysis, data discovery, and decision-making

    • Advanced communication skills (written and verbal)

    • Strong time management skills

    • Advanced relationship management skills; collaborate across multiple departments to communicate and resolve issues quickly

    • Strong influencing skills, including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
