    We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our clients' Corporate Procurement team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in strategically managing the procurement activities for Professional Services Categories, with a primary focus on HR Services and Contingent Labor. Position Objective:

    The Procurement Manager will be responsible for ensuring the optimal balance between cost and value for assigned categories of goods and services. This role involves understanding internal stakeholders' business needs, analyzing supply markets, and implementing coherent, consistent strategies for spending, pricing, and vendor selection. The focus will be on leading sourcing activities for Professional Services Categories, specifically HR Services and Contingent Labor, including the oversight of Managed Service Provider (MSP)/Vendor Management System (VMS) providers for the Contingent Labor program.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 3-5 years of procurement experience in a sophisticated sourcing environment, with a focus on Professional Services Categories, especially in Human Resources and Technology.

    • Proven executive stakeholder management and influencing skills.

    • Experience in managing Contingent Labor/Temporary Labor categories, with an emphasis on continuous improvement and MSP solution management.

    • Proficiency in all stages of the sourcing life cycle, with expertise in negotiation and complex deal structuring.

    • Ability to manage large-dollar, time-sensitive vendor negotiations.

    • Category sourcing experience in a large, national organization; experience in a diverse corporation is preferred.

    • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.

    • Team-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Proficient in project management and spend analytics tools.

    • Ability to gather, analyze, and draw conclusions from quantitative data.

    • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

    • Familiarity and experience with formal Category Management approaches and Procure-to-Pay tools, specifically Ariba, is desirable.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage procurement activities for assigned categories at regional and national levels.

    • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Professional Services Categories, emphasizing HR Services and Contingent Labor.

    • Supervise the performance of MSP and VMS partners, ensuring long-term strategy and continuous improvement of the Managed Service Provider program.

    • Analyze data, identify opportunities, develop strategies, manage RFx processes, and negotiate agreements in assigned categories.

    • Build internal business partner relationships, strategic supplier relationships, and negotiate market-leading contracts to reduce risk and total cost of ownership.

    • Utilize Category Management approach for strategic procurement, including prioritizing opportunities, leading cross-functional teams, and formulating strategies.

    • Implement strategies to enhance value and achieve breakthrough savings.

    • Develop expertise in relevant supply markets and negotiate pricing and terms of sale.

    • Evaluate global materials marketplace for risk, threats, and opportunities; recommend and facilitate changes as needed.

    • Maintain commercial relationships with existing and potential vendors.

    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure awareness and support of procurement strategies.

    • Implement and use Ariba Procure-to-Pay Solution.
