Mid-Level Platform Engineer

Job Description

A large automotive client is looking for a Mid-Level Platform Engineer to join their platform and analytics team. This team is responsible for "keeping the lights on" by maintaining the platform environment and ensuring that it is up and running. This is an Engineering and Operations environment that builds platforms for Developers. One main project they are currently supporting is moving from GCP to Qlik Sense SaaS. This will be a hybrid onsite role at their Dearborn campus. Tues and Thursday onsite.

* 5+ years of professional experience in a server and platform engineering role

* GCP Cloud Platform experience

o Strong understanding of cloud concepts (they also have azure and aws)

* Descriptive Tools experience

o Looker Studio

o Looker SaaS

o Qlik Sense

o Ultrix

* Power BI experience

o Monitoring

o Backend

o Alerts

o User guidance for developer help

* Visualization

* Data Fabric (Power BI Front end)

* Predictive Analytics

* Infrastructure (Two Very Important Concepts)

o Security Requirements

o Authentication -- Microsoft Entra

o Connectivity to Data Sources

* Large company experience

* Enterprise security mindset - Cloud certifications

o GCP ideally

- Third Party Sever

- Cloud scripting

- Terraform

- PowerShell

- Understanding GitHub null
