    Job Description Summary

    Contributes to the Hospital's mission to care, heal, and excel in service to our community by installing, troubleshooting and giving instructions on Medical Alert equipment to customers in their home. This staff position will have a positive impact on our clients by providing fast and efficient installations.

    Education:

    Required:

    ***** Associate degree or 2 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

    Experience:

    NOTE : WILL TRAIN the right person who has at least 3 years' experience in one or a combination of the following fields:

    • Working with the elderly or in a clinical healthcare position

    • A trade position involving customer relations.

    • Sales or strong customer service experience

    Must be fully vaccinated for the FLU w/n the last 12 months and fully vaccinated for COVID-19, including one booster.

    For safety and quality reasons, must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English with patients, visitors, and fellow members of the hospital team.

    Preferred:

    • Experience with equipment installation

    • Healthcare experience

    Travel requirements:

    • Travel within the local area to clients" homes, providing your transportation

    JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Delivers equipment to customers for installation in their homes.

    • Installs equipment in customers' homes while respecting their privacy and space.

    • Arranges for telephone and electrical adjustments of the system if needed.

    • Troubleshoots and problem-solves situations that may occur with the equipment and service.

    • Trains subscribers and family/caregivers to use the equipment and service.

    • Completes and submits weekly time sheets and other required documentation

    • Must be personable and professional

    • *Able to work independently
