    Let's Talk about the Role

    As the Mechanical Assistant you will assist with all Mechanical Maintenance activities as directed by Senior Mechanical or Maintenance/Supervisor staff to support clients' installations, maintenance, upgrades, inspections, and ongoing operations.

    • Proactive in Safety and use all proper PPE.

    • Quality work. Consistently demonstrate a high level of workmanship.

    • Have basic hand/power tool knowledge.

    • Possess knowledge about specific activity tools and be able to use them safely.

    • Ability to work unsupervised on any part of an equipment maintenance project.

    • Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.

    • Ability to align machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, lasers, and plumb bobs

    • Experience dismantling machinery or equipment

    • Should have experience with repair and or rebuild of large industrial equipment.

    • Ability to move machinery and equipment

    • Assembly and installation of equipment

    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Special Role Requirements:

    • A High School Diploma or GED are required. College or Technical Certifications are nice to have and it would also be beneficial if you have knowledge and experience maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment.

    • Willing to work 12 hours on Day or Night Shift.

    • 100% travel is required

    The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00. Employees may be eligible for overtime.
