    General Summary

    Designs, delivers, and evaluates exceptional leadership development experiences and learning journeys that align with strategic objectives and drive the overall development and enhancement of leadership capabilities across all levels of leadership at WellSpan.

    Essential Functions

    • Develops and implements comprehensive leadership development programs that create a clear career path from first line manager to the executive team, ensuring leadership potential is developed in line with needs of the organization.

    • Designs curriculum, workshops, and training modules focused on leadership competencies.

    • Incorporates innovative learning methodologies, such as experiential learning, coaching, mentoring, and action learning, to enhance leadership effectiveness.

    • Conducts assessments to identify leadership strengths, gaps, and development opportunities across the organization.

    • Provides coaching and feedback to leaders to support their professional growth and development.

    • Collaborates with HR and talent management teams to create development plans for high-potential leaders.

    • Facilitates leadership development training and programs.

    • Responsible for designing and implementing a talent review process in collaboration with the Chief Learning Officer and Chief People Officer and in partnership with HR and senior leadership to identify key leadership positions and develop succession plans to ensure continuity and readiness.

    • Implements initiatives to build a robust talent pipeline and cultivate a culture of leadership development and career advancement.

    • Monitors progress and tracks the development of high-potential leaders to ensure alignment with succession plans.

    • Establishes metrics and evaluation methods to assess the impact and effectiveness of leadership development initiatives.

    • Collects feedback from participants, stakeholders, and business leaders to identify areas for improvement and refinement.

    • Estimated Amount: 40% - Travel within WellSpan service area is required. Additional travel may be necessary.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Education

    • Bachelors Degree In Human Resources Development, Leadership Development, Coaching and Organizational Development, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or related field Required

    Work Experience

    • 7 years Experience in leadership development, organizational development, talent management, or related areas Required and

    • 2 years Exposure to the Healthcare industry Preferred

    Driver's License Statement:

    Must possess a valid driver's license in the current state of residence. Driving record must meet requirements established by WellSpan Risk Management.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful leadership development programs and initiatives.

    • Strong understanding of leadership theories, models, and best practices.

    • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

    • Experience in coaching and talent assessment preferred.

    • Certification in leadership development, coaching, or related areas is a plus.
