Job Description

Seeking a skilled Machine Operator to set up and operate a variety of machines, ensuring precision and adherence to engineering drawings or work orders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selecting the proper tools, fixtures, and equipment settings to accurately cut, bend, or roll parts within specified tolerances and timeframes. The role requires completing and scanning work orders accurately for each job and performing preventative maintenance on machines. The Machine Operator must work in a constant state of alertness, maintain a safe working environment, and function as a respectful team member. The position demands punctuality, readiness to perform, and the ability to execute other related duties to effectively meet departmental objectives. The Machine Operator should honor EEO guidelines and principles.

Hard Skills

• Machine operation including Plasma Arc Plate cutter, Threader, Hydraulic and Manual Press Brakes, Plate Roll, Angle Rolls, Laser Cutter, Band Saw

• Reading engineering drawings

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Lynn Haven, Florida.

Work Environment

The Machine Operator will be accountable for all aspects within their scope of work, with a responsibility to remedy, report, or communicate any issues appropriately. Adherence to safe work practices is essential, as is the responsibility to keep work areas clean and ensure compliance with waste management policies. Personal protection equipment required includes company-approved safety glasses or goggles, steel/composite toe shoes, hand protection, respiratory and hearing protection in designated areas, and appropriate clothing and safety equipment as required.
