Low Voltage Technician

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Structured Cable Technician to join our growing team. As a Structured Cable Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of structured cabling systems in a variety of environments. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure that our customers have a reliable and efficient network infrastructure. Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test structured cabling systems, including copper and fiber optic cabling.

• Install and configure network hardware, such as switches, routers, and firewalls.

• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.

• Document network installations and configurations.

• Comply with all applicable safety and industry standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 2+ years of experience as a Structured Cable Technician or in a related field.

• Strong understanding of structured cabling principles and practices.

• Familiarity with network hardware and protocols.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Valid driver's license.

• Clean criminal background check.
