  • Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a Journeyman Industrial Electricians for an overseas assignment. International travel is required for this position. Duties include:

    Responsible for repairing and installing electrical systems in new industrial construction and maintaining electrical equipment and wiring.

    Must be able to identify, troubleshoot and repair problems in electrical wiring that occur in an industrial setting.

    Expected to be able to run tests, isolate problems, replace faulty sections of wiring, and lay conduit for the new electrical systems.

    Must have good math skills, as need to take measurements and work with numbers.

    Must also be able to read blueprints. Should have good overall knowledge of all building electrical systems and electrical theory.

    Work well with public as well as with co-workers and willing to listen to others

    Must be punctual and follow rules

    Must be a self-starter and work independently with no or minimum guidance

    Must be willing to work long hours to include weekend

    Must be able to travel internationally

    Basic Qualifications:

    Experience in military construction

    Must be able to operate a forklift

    Must have and be able to maintain a valid driver's license

    Must be able to work well with public as well as with co-workers

    Must be a self-starter and work independently with no or minimum guidance and be willing to listen and work with others

    Good written and verbal communication skills

    Willing to work long hours including weekends

    Willingness to work rotational shifts including days, evenings, midnights, holidays and weekends, as required

    Must be able to work in extreme temperatures - hot and cold, indoors and outdoors

    Must be able to travel internationally

    Desired Skills:

    Top Secret Clearance

    Operations experience and deployed in the last two years

    Former military

    5 years of experience

    Active U.S. Passport

    Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
