  • Kit materials accurately

    according to lab requisitions, ensuring all components are compiled and

    packaged for various lab projects.

    Perform regular cycle counts to

    verify inventory accuracy, investigating and correcting any discrepancies

    immediately.

    Maintain precise records of inventory, updating the lab's system to reflect

    real-time data.

    Safely lift, move, and handle

    materials weighing up to 35 pounds, adhering to safety protocols.

    Coordinate with materials manager and other relevant departments to

    troubleshoot inventory issues.

    Contribute to the implementation of inventory management best practices and

    participate in continuous improvement efforts.

    Keep inventory storage areas within the lab organized, clean, and safe to

    facilitate operations.

    Utilize inventory management software for tracking inventory and locating items

    within the lab.

    Deliver excellent service to the lab team, ensuring they have the necessary

    materials for their work.

    Manage the check-out process for inventory, ensuring items are accounted for

    with proper documentation.

    Assist with annual inventory counts and reconciliation efforts, as directed by

    Materials Manager.

    Qualifications -

      • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Previous experience in inventory control, particularly in a lab or healthcare setting, is advantageous.

    • Capable of lifting and moving objects up to 35 pounds.

    • Organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

    • Familiarity with computer systems and inventory management software.

    • Strong numerical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with colleagues.

    • Ability to adapt to fluctuating workloads and responsibilities.
