    We are looking for a motivated and driven individual to join our team as a Marketing & Communications Intern. If you have a passion for marketing, social media or communications and are seeking to grow personally and professionally, we would love to speak with you!

    Objective

    This position will support the marketing and communications team across multiple projects and focus areas, including social media, website management, graphic design, employer branding, communications, and more.

    Standards

    Performance standards for this position include the following

    • Provide exceptional customer service to all PrimeFlight customers, suppliers, and employees

    • Constantly represent PrimeFlight in a positive and professional manner regardless of customer requests, complaints or demeanor

    • Comply with PrimeFlight policies and procedures

    • Interact with other PrimeFlight employees, suppliers and customers in a courteous and professional manner

    • Communicate work progress and significant issues to immediate supervisor

    General Responsibilities

    General responsibilities associated with this position include

    • Assist with scheduling and creating social media posts

    • Create graphics for marketing materials and digital content

    • Help organize company meetings and events

    • Conduct research for marketing projects

    • Track and update the 2022 tradeshow calendar

    • Mail marketing materials and supplies to company stations and tradeshows

    • Monitor social media platforms and company social media accounts

    • Assist in building Powerpoint presentations

    • Support the marketing team with creative projects and campaigns as necessary

    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • 18 years of age

    • Candidates who have completed or are working towards a degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)

    • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

    • Experience using the Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and Word

    • Strong communication skills

    • Previous graphic design experience is a plus

    • Reasoning ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

    • Certificates and licenses - No certifications needed.
