  • We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to join a recognized manufacturing organization in Greencastle, PA! This role requires on-site presence, Monday - Friday.

    Description

    The HR Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day human resource activities, and provide leadership and consultancy on all HR related issues. This position will report to the Director of HR.

    Job Duties

    • Partner with site leaders in the development of strategic programs designed to promote and support organizational effectiveness

    • Develop progressive staffing and retention strategies and oversee the employee experience

    • Provide guidance and support to leadership across all HR disciplines, including employee and labor relations

    • Manage the administration of performance management, merit, talent development, and succession planning

    • Oversee labor relations activities including the preparation, negotiation, administration, adherence, and resolution of collective bargaining matters

    • Support workplace safety initiatives and the Workers Compensation process

    • Operate at a high level to apply, monitor, and enforce employment laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.

    • Very people-facing and hands-on position - out on the floor in front of the employees and not sitting behind a desk

    • Other duties as needed

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    • Must be able to work in a team environment, get along with other, and build and maintain positive, productive, influential working relationships all levels of employees

    • Ability to positively, productively, and comfortably handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with focused attention to detail

    • 5+ years of experience within Human Resources

    • Manufacturing/distribution industry experience is preferred

    • Experience in Unionized environments is preferred
