We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to join a recognized manufacturing organization in Greencastle, PA! This role requires on-site presence, Monday - Friday.
The HR Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day human resource activities, and provide leadership and consultancy on all HR related issues. This position will report to the Director of HR.
Partner with site leaders in the development of strategic programs designed to promote and support organizational effectiveness
Develop progressive staffing and retention strategies and oversee the employee experience
Provide guidance and support to leadership across all HR disciplines, including employee and labor relations
Manage the administration of performance management, merit, talent development, and succession planning
Oversee labor relations activities including the preparation, negotiation, administration, adherence, and resolution of collective bargaining matters
Support workplace safety initiatives and the Workers Compensation process
Operate at a high level to apply, monitor, and enforce employment laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Very people-facing and hands-on position - out on the floor in front of the employees and not sitting behind a desk
Other duties as needed
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must be able to work in a team environment, get along with other, and build and maintain positive, productive, influential working relationships all levels of employees
Ability to positively, productively, and comfortably handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with focused attention to detail
5+ years of experience within Human Resources
Manufacturing/distribution industry experience is preferred
Experience in Unionized environments is preferred
