  • Heavy Equipment Mechanic

    Pay Rate - $30/hr. - $40/hr. (given experience)

    Description:

    Reporting to the Service Manager, a Service Technician performs mechanical maintenance and assembly adjustments on heavy construction equipment, lift trucks, road construction and aggregate machinery or quarry mining equipment. The qualified service technician possesses hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting capability, is punctual and maintains a professional and respectful demeanor with both staff and customers. This is a non-exempt (hourly) position and work is performed both in the shop and out in the field under varying temperatures and weather-related conditions. Typical shop hours are: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM but may vary by location. Technicians must be flexible to work weekends and overtime as needed to meet customer's needs.

    • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds without assistance

    • Must be able to work indoors or outdoors under a variety of temperatures and weather conditions
