Full Stack Developer

Overview

GovCIO is seeking a Full Stack Developer/Software Engineer to support the DoD's Insider Threat Management and Analysis Center (DITMAC) System of Systems (DSoS). This position will focus primarily on the development of a highly visible application that enables the Insider Threat mission throughout the DoD. Responsibilities of this position include the following: Partial hybrid/remote position located out of Arlington, VA

Responsibilities

Design, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise level, multitenant, big data analysis application: Full Stack Software Development (Java, Spring, JavaScript, React/Angular, REST/APIs, HTML5, CSS, Hibernate, etc.)

• Support all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

• Provide technical guidance and direction, Documentation, and presentation support as needed.

• Support Assessment & Authorization (A&A) efforts as needed.

• Others as needed/as directed.

The ideal candidate is an expert in software development, proficient in Agile methodologies, and a team player who thrives in a small, cross functional team environment. This candidate should proactive individual who has a demonstrated proficiency in problem solving, critical thinking, and optimizing existing enterprise applications.

Qualifications

B.S. Degree with 5-8 years of experience (or commensurate)

Clearance required: Top Secret

Strong understanding of software design patterns and development methodologies

Proficiency in Java Development, Software Design, and Problem Solving

Proficiency in the development, implementation, and support of enterprise level software applications

Experience with

Java, JavaScript, JSON,Spring Boot

One or more modern JavaScript Frameworks (i.e. React, Angular, Arelia, Vue, etc.)

Experience writing elegant, readable, maintainable, and well documented code

Demonstrated drive to keep current on industry best practices, patterns, and methodologies

Passion for development and delivering high quality capabilities

Strong team player with excellent communication skills

Must report to office/onisite periodically as needed by the customer.

Posted Salary Range

USD $119,000.00 - USD $145,000.00 /Yr.
