Field Service Engineer

Job Description

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for working on automated handling systems in a clean room environment, executing both preventative and corrective maintenance as well as product installation. Key tasks will include following all corporate safety protocols, working independently, applying company policies to resolve routine issues, professionally interacting with customers and internal departments, and performing routine installations and maintenance. Will perform preventive maintenance activities, troubleshoot routine issues, verify software status, evaluate basic log messages, and prepare and submit necessary paperwork.

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Work Environment

The work environment is situated in a fab cleanroom setting. The environment is safety-oriented. The work schedule is overnight, with 12-hour shifts from 5:45PM - 6:15AM Sunday - Tuesday, and then rotating to Saturday - Tuesday. This results in a 36-hour work week followed by a 48-hour work week.
