    Microfluidics International Corporation designs, manufactures and distributes patented and proprietary high performance Microfluidizer ® materials processing and formulation equipment to the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetics/personal care, and food industries. Microfluidics applies its 28 years of high pressure processing experience to produce the most uniform and smallest liquid and suspended solid particles available, and has provided manufacturing systems for nanoparticle products for more than 15 years.

    Job Description:

    Microfluidics is looking for a self-starter Field Service Technician to deliver the desired customer service experience. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention, and increases profitability for the company.

    Responsibilities:

    Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches

    Tie workflow to schedule

    Manage all on site installation, repairs, and maintenance tasks

    Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions

    Produce timely and detailed service reports

    Document processes

    Follow all company's policies and protocols

    Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization

    Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations

    Build positive relationships with customers

    Will require FSE to travel 75% nationwide

    Requirements and skills:

    3+ years of proven Field Service experience

    Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment

    Ability to read technical drawings

    Ability to work flexible days and to adapt to changing work schedules

    Familiarity with mobile/computer tools and applications

    Technical degree or certification
