Fall Intern

We are seeking a Fall Intern candidate to serve as a member of a KBR team working on the Hydrosphere, Biosphere and Geophysics (HBG) Support Services program at NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) in Greenbelt, MD. The candidate Intern will be employed to support various task assignments to help facilitate the HBG staff to track activities and meet scheduled deadlines. There is an expectation that the Intern will work during the Fall of 2024 (Sep-Nov) for approximately 10-12 weeks (at no more than 10 hours per week). The candidate will be directly responsible for maintaining a positive and productive working relationship with KBR staff, Prime Contractor staff, the NASA customer and/or other external contractor entities as applicable.?
Required Skills
Currently enrolled in at least one year Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.
Project/Team Experience (ability to track assignments and ensure timely completion and delivery)
Ability to work quickly, efficiently and accurately in a dynamic and fluid environment
Ability to complete all required training/learning assignments
Prior Intern experience
Knowledge and experience in researching, monitoring, examining, troubleshooting and surveying, and reporting
Experience with basic Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Additionally, the Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
Strong written and oral communication skills
Critical thinking
Strategy development
Balancing mission needs
Good judgment and relationship management
