Electrician

Description:

• • Running rigid (1.5 inch) pipe down to gearbox
• • Wiring 3-way switches

• Electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, cable, equipment, components and devices are assembled, installed, tested, and maintained in accordance with electrical layouts and building plans.

• • Installing and mounting electronic controls, devices, panels, sensors, and components.
• • Performing interlock wiring as required.

• Inspect sites and study orders, plans, and manuals to determine materials and procedures.

• • Diagnosing malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• • Directing and training workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• • Reading contract drawings.

• Experience with electrical distribution systems, including wiring up to 480V, installing conduit, wireways, pulling wiring/cables, and terminating cables. Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and control wiring diagrams.
