Diabetes Education Dietician/Nurse

Job Description

Insight Global Health is seeking an experienced Certified Diabetes Educator to join their Pediatric Endocrinology team for a healthcare client in Fort Myers. We have relocation incentives of $8,500.00 for qualified candidates! The candidate will be responsible for:

-developing expected patient outcomes for the pediatric diabetic population

-defining appropriate resource utilization and setting customer satisfaction goals

-serves as a clinical expert and provides education and consultation services to internal and external groups

-collaborates with other professional staff to facilitate care

-providing patient education on diabetes and education on community resources

-assisting pediatric patients and families with Type 1 Diabetic Care

Skills and Requirements

-2+ years of experience in diabetes education

-CDE Certification (Certified Diabetes Educator)

-Associates degree in healthcare field

-RN license OR Dietician License in state of FL -at least 1000 hours of Diabetes Self Management Education within the past 5 years preferred null
