    Job Description:

    GDIT's Military Health Team is hiring a Clinical Research Associate to support clinical investigations for the Traumatic Brain Injury Center of Excellence (TBICoE) located at the Naval Medical Center (NMCSD) in San Diego, California.

    The Research Associate will be responsible for collection, organization, literature reviews, structured interviews, analysis and interpretation of basic data and will assist with the preparation of technical reports, summaries, and protocols.

    How You Will Make AN IMPACT:

    • Plans, conducts, and completes investigations under the supervision of the head of the project.

    • Participates in data collection and organization, literature reviews, structured interviews, provides basic data analysis and interpretation.

    • Assists with the preparation of technical reports, summaries, and protocols.

    • Maintains clear and accurate records, inventories and logbooks.

    • Verifies and corrects data entry for research projects, supports senior staff in quality control and provides trouble shooting.

    • Provides written updates to senior staff.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCESS (REQUIRED):

    • Master's degree.

    • 2+ years of relevant research experience as outlined above.

    • Human Subjects training completed.

    • US Citizenship required with the ability to pass a T3 security investigation.

    WHAT WOUDL BE EVEN BETTER (PREFERRED:

    • Prior experience within the DoD/VA systems of care.

    The likely salary range for this position is $53,600 - $80,400. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
