    SMX is seeking aC4 Systems Integration Specialistto support SOCOM on the implementation of the SCMS ISN/IPN network engineering project for the Network and Data Center technical refresh across the SOCOM network enterprise.

    This is a hybrid position within 50 miles of St. Inigoes, MD.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Support SCMS ISN/IPN project as on-site liaison with sponsor while ensureproper chain of command for all direct tasking

    • Work directly with the sponsor's technical team to transition projects fromdesign to integration

    • Serve as a SCMS network lead for USSOCOM network node for site surveysand installs

    • Must be able to travel to OCONUS to all network nodes to lead site surveyand install teams (without government representation) as the trustedrepresentative for SCMS and the program

    • Coordinate all SCMS team sponsor asset maintenance and upgrades to ensure smooth timely delivery for a fast pasted worldwide install

    Required Skills & Experience

    • Required clearance: TS/SCI

    • Sec+ CE certification (or DoD 8140 equivalent)

    • Expertise in IT Infrastructure

    • Expertise in Wireless Infrastructure

    • Expertise in Systems & Networking Engineering

    • Expertise in Project/Change Management

    • Strong knowledge of Virtualization and Cloud Technologies

    • Strong understanding of DoD Regulations & Policies

    • 5-8 years cumulative network enterprise experience

    • Bachelor's degree in computer Networking

    • Five (5) years sponsor network experience, preferably at domain admin level - Microsoft Preferred

    • CONUS/OCONUS 10% travel required

    Desired Skills & Experience

    Exposure to USSOCOM Installation Service Nodes and service stacks

    • Cyber Security

    • Nutanix experience
