    Job Description

    Assembles airline seats partially or completely, working at bench or on shop floor by performing the following duties.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    1. Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English 100%

    2. Must be able to read drawings 100%

    3. Using basic hand tools and measuring instruments fasten parts together 100%

    4. Must know where to find WPS & QAP's on computer and be able to check for drawing rev's. 100%

    5. Must be able to perform other duties as required.

    6. Must have basic problem solving skills100%

    Employee is expected to follow all safety regulations, keep work area in a clean and orderly condition, and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required for the assigned work area(s). Performs safety related duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS

    1. High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

    2. Requires a thorough understanding of shop practices and procedures.

    3. Must be able to read and interpret average to complex blueprints, drawings, diagrams, tolerance information, route sheets, work orders, safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

    4. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

    5. Employee must be able to obtain and maintain all required certifications and licenses.

    6. Customer Focus: Is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; Understands that his or her job is not a series of tasks and duties, but rather an integral part of creating value for customers
