    Venturi, LLC, a Chenega company, has an exciting career opportunity for an AEGIS Senior Systems Engineer who will be part of a talented and mission oriented professional team of federal engineers, active-duty Naval Officers and contract staff who are willing to roll up their sleeves and get missile defense capability out to the Fleet. You will also be part of a team of some of the best and brightest engineers and scientists our country has to offer. You will work on the TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract to provide engineer services critical to mission success, national security, and the safety of US and alied military personnel.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide direct support to the MDA program office in the integration of the Aegis Weapons

    • Streamline the integration process to support schedule, cost, and risk reduction

    • Under the purview of MDA, provide support for requirement verification through onsite test observation and inspection

    • Provide data management and configuration management

    • Provide technical support by reviewing changes and participating in working groups as needed

    • Provide integration and validation support of mechanical, electrical, and integrated systems

    • Deliver program management support for program lifecycle cost, program planning, schedule, and risk management

    • Support all elements of the systems engineering V

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Master's degree in STEM

    • 12+ years of experience

    • Works independently, as a team member, or leading teams/tasks

    • Applies engineering rigor to solve engineering/scientific problems

    • Demonstrates familiarity with Navy Weapon Systems

    • US citizenship

    • Active Secret clearance

    Desired:

    • Active TS/SCI clearance

    • Prior experience with Aegis Weapons Systems

    • Experience with Missile Systems Engineering

    • Technical experience in one of the following areas: Fleet operations, systems engineering, missile systems, Aegis Qualifications, etc.
