  • Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure client satisfaction through open communication, managing deadlines and proactively sharing tax saving strategies

    • Provide innovative individual and business tax planning, consulting and compliance services

    • Assist partners with preparation of engagement budgets

    • Provide representation with taxing authorities for clients under federal or state examination

    • Be involved in practice development efforts of the Firm

    • Supervise and train staff

    • Review staff work product and ensure Firm processes and quality control procedures are being adhered to

      • Participate in the Firm's professional development initiatives, including but not limited to serving as a mentor and conducting training seminars for staff

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting and knowledge of accounting principles

    • CPA preferred

    • Minimum of 5 years accounting experience

    • Public accounting experience preferred

    • Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel

    • Knowledge of US GAAP (Specifically ASC 606)

    Strong skills in the following key areas

    • Project prioritization and management

    • Time management and ability to meet accounting close deadlines

    • Effective oral and written communication

    • Interpersonal skills

    • Analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to exercise discretion and judgment
