Ensure client satisfaction through open communication, managing deadlines and proactively sharing tax saving strategies
Provide innovative individual and business tax planning, consulting and compliance services
Assist partners with preparation of engagement budgets
Provide representation with taxing authorities for clients under federal or state examination
Be involved in practice development efforts of the Firm
Supervise and train staff
Review staff work product and ensure Firm processes and quality control procedures are being adhered to
Bachelor's degree in accounting and knowledge of accounting principles
CPA preferred
Minimum of 5 years accounting experience
Public accounting experience preferred
Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of US GAAP (Specifically ASC 606)
Project prioritization and management
Time management and ability to meet accounting close deadlines
Effective oral and written communication
Interpersonal skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to exercise discretion and judgment
