5 Axis Mill Machinist

Aerotek is seeking a 5 Axis Mill Machinist

Job Description:

Candidate will be the only machinist in a small valve company. They will be setting up the machine and editing programs daily. No programming needed but needs to be able to edit proficiently. They will be running a Doosan with Fanuc controls, model number DVF6500.

Pay: $30-40/hr.

1st Shift 7am-3:30pm

This client is an innovative, family- owned manufacturer of Specialty Valves. A worldwide leading solutions provider of Sleeved Plug Valves, Fully Lined Plug Valves, Control Plug Valves, Sampling Valves and Lined Ball Valves for critical applications across all industries.

This client has sales offices, production Plants as well as foundries and around 600 employees worldwide. Locations include the USA, Germany, Brasil, South Africa, China, Russia and many more.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• CAM Programming (Mastercam / Heidenhain)

• 5 axis Mill CNC Machining

• Conventional Machining

• Stock management (Tooling / Round Bar )

• Maintain machines and measuring equipment

• Follow and improve ISO 9001 procedures

• Quality check on all goods manufactured

Job Requirements/Skillset:

• CAM Programming experience (Mastercam)

• CNC Milling experience, Turning is a plus

• Heidenhain Controls / Fanuc Controls

• Experienced in conventional machining (turning, milling, drilling)

• Minimum 3 years experience in CAM Programming & CNC machining preferred

• Hands On Mindset, willingness to learn and grow within a team

• Familiar with ISO 9001 standards
