Launch Your Career at the 2011 Hotel Show in Dubai

With 244 hotels containing 55,000 hotel rooms in the pipeline, the UAE will create 120,000 new jobs by 2011. This will provide hotel management and recruitment specialists with a challenge. It will also generate vast opportunities for a variety of career minded professionals and graduating students.

Those interested in a career in hospitality should attend the upcoming Hotel Show at the Dubai World Trade Center from May 17-19, 2011. The show will be split into four sections: Interiors & Design; Security & Technology; The Resort Experience; and Operating Equipment & Supplies. Each will accommodate a number of new subsections, including green energy supplies, front of house reservation systems and light catering equipment.

The Dubai Hotel Show will attract leading industry figures for the Seven Star Conference and will address health and beauty trends at the Middle East Spa Summit. On the last day of the show, a "Careers Afternoon," in collaboration with the Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management (EAHM), will afford those interested in pursuing a career in hospitality the opportunity to seek direction and vocational training information.

The EAHM will be exhibiting throughout the show, showcasing their range of hospitality management courses to human resource directors, training managers and other industry professionals. Graduating students from EAHM and career minded professionals will have the opportunity to meet their future suppliers and colleagues.

The EAHM is an institution of higher education in the Middle East that offers internationally accredited and industry recognized degree-level courses focusing on hospitality education. Many industry-focused colleges anticipate a rise in local and overseas applicants, highlighting the growing interest in hospitality among young people.
